Saudi Meters Company Ltd. was founded in 1981 in Riyadh and manufactures water and electricity meters for utilities and water and power applications in Saudi Arabia, the GCC and the wider Middle East. Its range includes dry, semi-dry and wet multi-jet mechanical water meters and Hydrus ultrasonic smart water meters in DN15 to DN32 sizes with data logging, leak detection and open metering communication, plus smart electricity meters. The company states a manufacturing capacity of 500,000 smart water units and 1.5 million smart electricity units a year, has industrial agreements with Diehl Metering and Kaifa Metering Technology, and is a member of Abunayyan Holding.
