Listing Guidelines
Last updated: March 2026
These guidelines describe the full lifecycle of a listing on Corporabia — from initial submission through admin review, approval, ongoing editing, and claiming an existing listing. Reading them carefully will help you submit a complete, accurate listing and avoid unnecessary delays.
How Submission Works
Anyone can submit a new company listing using the Add Listing form — no account is required to submit. Once submitted, your listing enters a pending review queue and is not publicly visible until a Corporabia administrator approves it.
You will receive a notification once your listing has been reviewed. Typical review time is 1 business day. To speed up approval, ensure all required fields are complete and accurate before submitting.
Rate Limit
To prevent spam, the submission form enforces a rate limit per IP address. If you need to submit multiple listings in a short period, please contact us at [email protected].
Required Fields
The following fields must be completed before your listing can be submitted. Incomplete submissions will not be accepted.
Company Name (English)
Use the official registered name exactly as it appears on your Commercial Registration (CR) certificate. Do not add slogans, keywords, or location names to the name field — these belong in the description. The English name determines your listing's public URL and cannot be changed after approval without admin review.
Correct
Al-Rashid Industrial Supplies Co.
Incorrect
Al-Rashid Industrial Supplies — Best HVAC in Riyadh #1
Category
Select the single category that best describes your primary business activity. If your business spans multiple categories, choose the one that represents the majority of your revenue or the service you most want to be found for. A secondary category can be added in the optional fields section.
City
Select the city where your main office or operations are based. If you operate nationally, select the city of your registered head office.
Description
Write a clear, honest description of what your business does. Explain your core activities, the industries you serve, and what makes your business distinctive. Aim for 3–6 sentences (10–2,000 characters). Avoid keyword stuffing, excessive capitalisation, and promotional language such as "best", "number one", or "cheapest". Do not copy descriptions from other websites.
Products & Services
List the specific products you manufacture or supply, or the services you provide. Be precise — "HVAC equipment supply and installation" is more useful to buyers than "engineering services". This field is used in search, so accurate entries directly improve your discoverability.
Tags / Keywords
Enter terms that buyers are likely to search for — materials, certifications, industry terms, or specific product types. Separate tags with commas. Tags are automatically normalised to lowercase and trimmed, so "HVAC" and "hvac" are treated as the same tag. Only include terms that genuinely describe your business; do not include competitor names or unrelated keywords.
Optional Fields
These fields are not required but significantly improve your listing's completeness and buyer confidence.
| Field | Guidance |
|---|---|
| Company Name (Arabic) | The official Arabic name as it appears on your CR certificate. Displayed below the English name on your profile. Changes after approval require admin review. |
| Logo | Upload your official company logo. Accepted formats: JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, SVG. Maximum file size: 2 MB. Use a clear image on a transparent or white background (minimum 200×200 px). Do not upload photographs of people, stock images, or images with promotional text. |
| Tagline | One sentence summarising your value proposition. Keep it factual and specific. Maximum 120 characters. |
| Secondary Category | If your business genuinely spans two categories, you may add a secondary one. Do not select a secondary category solely to appear in more search results. |
| Contact Person | Full name of the primary contact at the business. Shown on the listing to help buyers know who to ask for. |
| Year Established | The year your business was founded or commercially registered in Saudi Arabia. |
| Areas Served | Regions, cities, or sectors you actively serve. E.g. "Eastern Province, Jubail Industrial City, Oil & Gas sector". |
| CR Number | Your 10-digit Commercial Registration number issued by the Ministry of Commerce. Providing this accelerates the verification process. Changes after approval require admin review. |
Contact Methods
All contact details must be accurate and actively monitored. You can add multiple entries of each type. The following types are supported:
| Type | Guidance |
|---|---|
| Mobile / Phone | Use international format (e.g., +966 5X XXX XXXX). Shown in the contact section and powers the "Call" quick action on mobile. |
| Use international format. Powers the "WhatsApp" quick action button. Displayed separately from the phone number in the contact card. | |
| Use a business email address where possible. Personal Gmail or Hotmail addresses are permitted but not recommended. | |
| Website | Your official business website URL. Powers the "Website" quick action button. |
| Google Maps | A direct link to your business location on Google Maps. Powers the "Map" quick action button. |
| Link to your official LinkedIn company page. Displayed as a clickable icon — not as a raw URL. Do not link to personal profiles. | |
| Link to your official Instagram business profile. Displayed as a clickable icon. Do not link to personal accounts. |
Keep your contact information up to date. Listings with outdated or unreachable contact details may be flagged by buyers and are subject to removal after review.
Review & Approval Process
Every new submission is reviewed by the Corporabia moderation team before it goes live. During review, the team checks that:
- The company name matches the registered business.
- The description is accurate, original, and free of promotional language.
- The category and city are appropriate.
- Contact details are reachable and belong to the business.
- No duplicate listing exists for the same legal entity.
If your submission is rejected, you will be notified with a reason. You may correct the issues and re-submit. Repeated submissions of the same non-compliant listing may result in a temporary block.
Editing an Approved Listing
Once your listing is approved and you have claimed ownership (see below), you can edit it at any time from your Company Dashboard. Most changes take effect immediately. However, the following identity fields require admin review before the change goes live:
| Field | Why admin review is required |
|---|---|
| Company Name (English) | Defines your listing's public URL (slug). Changes affect search indexing and existing links to your profile. |
| Company Name (Arabic) | Part of your company's legal identity in the directory. |
| CR Number | Used for verification. Changes are reviewed to prevent fraudulent reassignment. |
When you submit a change to one of these fields, the new value is queued for review. Your current approved value remains visible until the change is approved or rejected. All other fields (description, tags, contact methods, logo, etc.) are updated immediately without review.
Claiming an Existing Listing
If your business is already listed on Corporabia but you did not create the listing, you can submit a claim request from the company's profile page. To do this, you must first create a Corporabia account.
The moderation team will review your claim. You may be asked to provide supporting documentation (e.g., a copy of your CR certificate or a business email confirmation). Once approved, the listing is linked to your account and you can manage it from your Company Dashboard. You will be notified by email and in-app notification when your claim is approved or rejected.
If your claim is rejected, you will receive a reason. You may re-submit a claim after addressing the issue. If you believe a rejection was made in error, contact us at [email protected].
One Listing Per Business
Each legal business entity may have only one listing on the platform. If your company operates under multiple trading names or divisions, mention them within a single listing's description or products section. Submitting multiple listings for the same business — whether under the same or different accounts — violates these guidelines. Duplicate listings will be removed after review.
Keeping Your Listing Accurate
You are responsible for keeping your listing up to date. If your phone number, email, website, business activities, or other details change, update your listing promptly from your Company Dashboard. Listings that are consistently inaccurate or unreachable may be suspended or removed at the discretion of the moderation team.
Prohibited Content
The following are not permitted in any listing field:
- Competitor names or brands used as keywords or in descriptions.
- False, misleading, or unverifiable claims (e.g., "ISO certified" without holding the certification).
- Promotional language in the company name field (slogans, rankings, superlatives).
- Content that is offensive, discriminatory, or violates Saudi law.
- Links to websites unrelated to the listed business.
- Personal social media profiles in place of official business accounts.
